Thrift with Me
Well I did it! I started a YouTube channel. After watching countless hours of other women sourcing items for their homes and shops, I decided I can do it, too. There is a learning curve, and people love to point out where one is on that curve!
For me, filming in public is the most challenging part. As an introvert it is hard to draw attention to myself. Filming and talking in a thrift store will bring attention!
My mom has begrudgingly joined in the fun of being a “YouTuber!” I told her the video that is closest to 10k views is with her. When I am alone I don’t get the same views. This led to her agreement to film with me. We definitely laugh a lot. Creating YouTube videos was not on the bingo card;).
(I will do a YouTube beginner’s blog on how I got started. It’ll be from the perspective of a YouTube Thrift with Me newbie. Hopefully, I will be able to write a future blog post from the perspective of a much loved YouTube Thrift with Me vlogger!)Thrift with Me at Goodwill! My Mom and I had a really good thrift outing in Roswell, Georgia.
